While creating this site I did my own non-scientific research, leading me to a conclusion: happy people sleep well. I also noticed that happiness often takes the form of feeling rather than state and can last for just several minutes, leaving a wonderful trace of joy. From childhood I remember that these feelings frequently appeared when I was read beautiful poems, fairytales or nature depictions. The power of words was so strong that it always tricked my brain to believe that the experience was real and I am the part of the scenery. I talked to many people and most agreed that beautiful images or wordings possess a magic gift to induce us with calm and peace. English is my second language and I grew to love it by constantly searching and finding exquisite English passages to read before falling asleep. Here I will start sharing some of them with you and will be adding more and more as time goes by… Wish you enjoy them and write me to share your thoughts or suggest more extracts.
